Built by an Aussie sailor and his Mum
Morgan and I started Sailing Nation for a simple reason: sailing is a small, mighty sport, and it almost never shows up in the clothes people wear every day. We wanted gear that represents sailors on and off the water, in modern designs and coastal, nautical colours, the kind anyone in the family can wear with pride. This collection is what we use ourselves. We'd love for you to join us. Sailing Nation is also a place where we are sharing our journey of raising a youth sailor with world class goals in a hope to inspire the next generation of sailors.
Meet Morgan
Morgan is a competitive sailor who lives for time on the water. He's raced at national regattas and trains daily under some of Australia's best coaches. His "I am made for this" approach to sailing and to life is the heart of this brand.
Ask him why Sailing Nation exists and he'll tell you: “I want sailors to be proud of what they do, and I want sailing to be seen and followed by more people, like F1.”
Meet Cara
I'm Mum to Morgan, and part of the crew it takes to raise a sailor. Over the years I've seen how much belonging matters to youth sailors, especially in a sport so few people understand. I've heard the comments they live with:
“People don't understand what I do.”
“They think I sit on a boat all day.”
“They think sailing is easy.”
